As a core partner with the Edwin Morgan Trust, The University of Glasgow will be supporting the #EdwinMorgan100 through a number of events and initiatives.

The Centenary will launch on April 27 with the Edwin Morgan 100 conference, bringing together academics, writers, and publishers in Morgan’s home city to celebrate his life and the wide range of his work as poet, playwright, educator, and critic.

This international conference will take place at the University of Glasgow Monday 27th—Tuesday 28th April 2020, Marjorie Perloff will give a keynote lecture. We will also host a Civic Reception at the City Chambers in Glasgow on the evening of Monday 27th April.

In addition to the conference, Glasgow University will be working with the Edwin Morgan Trust to present an exhibition in the Glasgow University Library, along with an exhibition at the Hunterian art Gallery.
