#Edwinmorgan100 is also reaching London! The National Poetry Library will be celebrating the Edwin Morgan Centenary in 2020 with an exhibition and accompanying public programme of events to coincide with the centenary calendar.

Head Librarian at the National Poetry Library, Chris McCabe said “We regularly use Edwin Morgan’s poem ‘The First Men on Mercury’ in our education materials, and find that the work of Edwin Morgan provides an accessible and humorous path for audiences young and old to engage with our library, and with contemporary poetry.”

The National Poetry Library is the largest public collection of modern poetry in the world, and has been a place of inspiration and support for many esteemed poets and writers throughout its history. We can’t wait to see how the Edwin Morgan Centenary inspires future generations through this exciting partnership!
