Scottish Universities International Summer School will be launching Seven New Strawberries: seven new translations of Edwin Morgan’s ‘Strawberries’ into seven world languages on November 16 at 7:30pm.
These translations, along with the translators’ accompanying commentaries, present a remarkable insight into the practice of literary translation and a celebration of one of Scotland’s best-loved poems.
The online event will include a reading from poet Russell Jones, a Q&A with literary translator Anna Visser, and an open discussion with some of the contributors to the volume.
